Class Act Performing Arts Academy

Class Act Performing Arts Academy is a performing arts studio offering classes in dance, drama, musical theater, and private lessons in voice, piano, and violin. Class Act continues to stand out in our community with its mission to provide a quality, wholesome arts education to youth of all ages. Performers delight audiences with their family-friendly shows and modest costumes, which allow youth to build confidence and shine on stage without compromising their values. Curriculum and costumes at Class Act is always age-appropriate and performance rather than competition based. “We believe that students can learn and grow through performing experiences in a non-competitive atmosphere, so we get them out there to perform in the community as much as possible,” says Musical Theater Director, Emma England.
Class Act also encourages its students to become “triple threat performers,” studying a curriculum of dance, drama, and voice that will lead to professional careers in the arts. Class Act students are already working on major movies, commercials, and other events and have signed with agents at both the local and national level. In fact, just this year, many students performed before major agencies and recoding companies at the Millie Lewis Actors, Models, & Talent Competition, where Class Act took “Top Studio Overall” for its high scores. Following this success, Class Act’s resident Musical Theater Company, Totality, took 2 first place finishes at the national Musical Theater Competition of America.
Although competitions can be exciting, the main focus at Class Act is giving back to the community. They have performed at many exciting locations and events, including local festivals, grand openings, retirement communities, scouting events, and other community functions. Some favorite performances have included my Gilbert Mayor’s New Years Eve Party, Arizona Diamondbacks Game, Holiday Tree Lighting’s, Veterans Day Events, and Parades. Class Act students have also had the opportunity to tour with their shows around the nation and worldwide, to destinations such as New Zealand, Australia, Europe, New York, California, Washington DC, and most recently China. They were even the first dance group ever to perform at the Statue of Liberty!
Class Act will continue to offer its exceptional programs this fall in its Gilbert location (on Guadalupe between Cooper & Gilbert Roads), and will soon expand to a second location in Queen Creek at Pecos and Ellsworth Roads!  If you would like more information on Class Act’s programs, do not hesitate to contact them!
